LNER Class Reid North British Railway C15 4-4-2 Tank

Built 1911-13. Designed by Reid.

Total Number Built 30 - Total to BR 30.

Introduced 1911. Reid North British Railway design.

Developed further by Reid from 1915 with superheater as Class C16.

(a) 67460, 67474 and 67475 fitted with push-pull control apparatus by BR.

Number Series 67452-67481.

Built at the Yorkshire Engine Co. Works.

No Lot Nos. yet available.

Withdrawals began in 1952 and all had gone by 1956 except Nos. 67460 and 67474 which were motor-fitted which lasted until 1960 working the West Highland lines, Arrochar to Craigendoran trains.

The first loco withdrawn was ??? on ??? from ??? shed.
The last two locos withdrawn were 67460 and 67474 on 1 April and 12 April 1960 both from Eastfield shed, Glasgow.

None are preserved.
