LNER Class Robinson Great Central Railway C13 4-4-2 Tank

Built 1903-05. Designed by Robinson

Total Number Built 40 - Total to BR 40.

Introduced 1903. Robinson Great Central Railway Class 9K design. Subsequently fitted with superheater.

(a) Fitted with push-pull control apparatus - Total 8.

Developed further by Robinson from 1907 onwards with detail differences as Class C14.

Number Series 67400-67439.

Built at the ??? Works.

No Lot Nos. yet available.

All were in service until 1952 but most of them were withdrawn between 1955-59 and the last one at the beginning of 1960.

The first loco withdrawn was ??? on ??? from ??? shed.
The last loco withdrawn was 67417 on 23 January 1960 from Doncaster shed.

None are preserved.
