EE Type 4 Class 40 40052 (D252) at Preston on 21 March 1983

Allocated to Healey Mills HM MPD, 40052 runs through Preston station, down light engine.

Built at EE Vulcan Foundry in December 1959, the loco saw 24 years service and was withdrawn in June 1983, then cut up at BREL Crewe works in July 1984.
