Allocated to Immingham IM TMD in the FPBI petroleum pool, 37706 runs up light engine towards Crewe.

Built at EE Vulcan Foundry in June 1961, this loco went new to Stratford depot, saw service around the country and was withdrawn by EWS in Jan 2008. Sold to WCRC in Dec 2008, it is still operational with WCRC, allocated to Carnforth.

This loco was named "Conidae" at Immingham without ceremony in April'91. This was applied to locomotives dedicated to Shell trainload workings and carried the Latin names of different shells.
