Then allocated to Cardiff Canton CF TMD in the FPEK petroleum pool, 37350 is berthed in the bay platform at the west end of Reading station awaiting its next duty. Beyond is 37280 and alongside an NSE liveried 'Thumper' unit is working a stopping diagram between Reading - Basingstoke.

Released from EE Vulcan Foundry on 02 Dec 1960, this loco went new to Stratford SF depot. It saw service around the country and following a collision with 37515 in Oct 2003 at Barrow Hill, it went to Derby for repairs. It was then withdrawn in Dec 2004 and passed into preservation, where it has seen extensive use on many of the principal preserved railways.
