Then allocated to Gateshead GD MPD, 37136 runs through, up light engine.

Built at EE Vulcan Foundry in April 1963, this loco went new to Cardiff Canton depot. In Dec 1986 the loco was refurbished with Ruston 1800hp engine and Brush alternator, renumbered into sub-class 37/9 as 37905. Officially withdrawn in Nov 2005, it passed into preservation on the Dartmoor Railway, Meldon in Feb 2006. It latterly went to UK Rail Leasing, Leicester in Oct 2015
