Brush Type 2 No. Unknown and Trainspotters at Kings Cross Station 1964

Unknown Brush Type 2 arrives at Kings Cross Station. Its 1964 and pop music, new fashions and long hair have arrived with The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kinks, etc...

Six trainspotters gather at the end of the platform note books in hands. The boy on the left can be associated with The Kinks song 'Dedicated Follower of Fashion'; he has long swept back hair, natty jacket, fashionable polo necked jumper and jeans with turn-ups. The older two on the right are wearing whai I call 'adult wear', mackintosh and sports jacket along with slacks. The centre boy seems to be wearing his school blazer, school tie and long trousers. A varied mixture of clothing for the period.

There are 6 trainspotters. You can see an extra head and pair of feet between the two trainspotters on the right.
