LNER/BR Gresley Class J39/2 0-6-0 No. 64880, with its side rods removed, stands in the yard at Carlisle Kingmoor shed on Saturday 15th June 1963, where a trainspotter poses in the cab. A long time resident of Carlisle Canal shed, it was transferred to 39A Gorton shed in 1961, from where is was withdrawn on 15th October 1962. The loco is in transit from Gorton to Cowlairs Works, Glasgow, where it was cut up later that month; June 1963.
