St Margarets LNER/BR Class C16 4-4-2T No. 67492 at Macmerry station on 6 September 1958 with the SLS Lothian Lines Tour. Passenger services on the branch had ceased on 1st July 1925 and the run round manoeuvre is taking place in the former goods yard. The railtour, which visited various branches in Edinburgh and the Lothians, started at Waverley and finished at Princes Street.

Many trainspotters, or in this case, railway enthusiasts, can be seen walking on the overgrown platform.
