Built EE Vulcan Foundry in August 1965, rebuilt 1980 as Class86/3 with SAB resilient wheels for improved riding and 100mph capability; here piloting 86314 on an up Freightliner.

Latterly a Freightliner Class 86/6 loco limited to 75mph with eth isolated, it was withdrawn September 2004 and scrapped in March 2005 at Booth-Roe Metals, Rotherham.
