Allocated to Willesden WN depot, 86 214 "Sans Pareil" calls with a Liverpool - Poole IC service. The RAIL 150 livery was worn only by this loco and 86 235 and was an indicator of the later BR large logo livery. Built June 1965 at BREL Doncaster Works, the loco was named 17 April 1980 "Sans Pareil" meaning 'without equal' as part of the Liverpool & Manchester Railway RAIL 150 celebrations, after an original steam locomotive from the Rainhill Trials, it was scrapped in March 2006 at Ron Hull, Rotherham.
