Built at EE Vulcan Foundry in September 1965; here 86207 is heading 1M20 11.10 Glasgow - Euston. Withdrawn in January 2006, it was scrapped in April that same year at Ron Hull, Rotherham.

Named at Lichfield Trent Valley on 02 March 1981 by Lady Leonora, Countess of Lichfield as part of the twinning of BR with principal towns along the WCML; with the town's coat of arms placed above the nameplate.
