Built February 1962 at BR Crewe works; here 45104 "The Royal Warwickshire Fusilier" has arrived with the 14.20 St Pancras - Derby semi-fast. Withdrawn in 1988, this loco was scrapped in February 1992 at MC Metals, Glasgow.

Named on 22 May 1964 at Birmingham Snow Hill after one of the amalgamated regiments; a naming theme for many of the Class 45 locos. The loco bore an unofficial nameplate with coat of arms from 1986 for the last 2 years in service.
