Built at EE Vulcan Foundry in April 1960; here allocated to Healey Mills HM MPD, 40069 heads an up CCE ballast spoil train, on a truly filthy wet day.
Withdrawn later in the year from Newton Heath depot in September 1983, this loco was scrapped at BREL Doncaster in September 1984.
