Built EE Vulcan Foundry in August 1962 and delivered new to Sheffield Darnall depot, this remained an ER loco at various depots until sent to Scotland's Eastfield MPD in March 1981; here having arrived in Oban station and run round its train, 37051 now marshals fuel oil tankers in the adjacent sidings. Eventually withdrawn by EWS, it was scrapped at Sims Metals, Beeston in January 2008.
