Having arrived with an earlier service, 26021 waits to be released by the departing train. It displays the typical appearance of a Highland loco, with the Class 26 original white reporting disks, plus later mini snowploughs and the spotlamp required for working the Kyle and Far North lines.

Delivered in April 1959 by BRCW as D5321; it was withdrawn in 1991 and scrapped in August 1994 at MC Metals, Glasgow.
