Built BREL Darlington Works in 1957; allocated to Crewe Diesel CD TMD, here 08382 is Station Pilot at Crewe and is shunting Parcels bogies in the South end bay platforms; this is a vacuum brake only example. The shunter was withdrawn from Crewe and scrapped in 1985.

Built at BR Crewe Works in 1960; here a spruced up 08720 shunts on Mossend Yard near Motherwell. This loco was eventually withdrawn from use by EWS and scrapped at TJ Thompson of Stockton in November 2007.

Built 1962 at BR Horwich Works; here allocated to Carlisle Upperby CL, 08910 is working as Carlisle Station Pilot and arrives to remove ecs back to Upperby Yard.

Built at BR Crewe Works in October 1960; 08740 stands in the East Dock of Birmingham New St station, awaiting its next duty. This loco was withdrawn from the EWS fleet in August 2005.

Built in August 1959 at BR Crewe Works; here dual braked example 08583 shunts ecs from York Station, only recently reinstated on 15/01/1984 after a period of withdrawal from Oct'1981. Latterly a Trainload Coal loco, it was scrapped in October 1995 at BREL Doncaster.

Crewe CD celebrity shunter 08907 moves to and fro with Parcels ecs in the Crewe South end bay platforms. Painted in LNWR black, it also has its number cast in the LNWR style too.
Built by BR Horwich Works in June 1962 as D4137, last heard of it has returned to Crewe as one of the EWS WSSK shunter pool

Built at BR Darlington Works in June 1959; here 08540 shunts a CCE track train at Peterborough. Latterly an EWS shunter, it was scrapped in August 2010 at EMR Kingsbury.
